The Excelsior Running Club is proud to present the 5th Annual Star City San Bruno Mountain Half Marathon on Saturday, October 7, 2023! Sure to become one of the top trail half marathons in the country, the race boasts spectacular views of the Pacific, Bay and San Francisco.

The half marathon registration includes a t-shirt (if registered by 9/16/2023), finishers medal, and a meal!  A portion of your registration fee will go to support local community organizations!

The race is 93% on trail, kicks in 2,400 ft of elevation fun, and has a screaming single track downhill section.  Want to know the intimate details of your journey, check out our Course page.

Our race was dreamed up by runners who love the trails of San Bruno Mountain.  We wanted to create an amazing running experience and then have participants enjoy lunch while celebrating their accomplishment.
